Meet Captain Zu – nomad, airship captain, and main character in one of my short stories. I’ll probably be able to post the stories (or parts of them) here early next year.
Here’s another possible alien. It’s the one that’s most like humans genetically (I think of it like a lemur). It’s a tree-dwelling species with six limbs ending in hands. It never developed much technology on its own, but it has a high aptitude for using tech of all kinds.
Another possible alien. This one’s a highly advanced fish-like species that left the water via body modification and augmentation.
He wasn’t meant to be angry when I started, but his mouth looked cute all “grr” and whatnot, so angry he became. I think somebody took his chew toy.
Another alien idea – the Brain Hair. An elongated single cell organism that groups together into a colony that thinks together as one. If they can communicate at all, they would never refer to themselves as an individual.
You’re going to see more aliens in the coming weeks. I’m thinking about a new project that involves several species so I’m brainstorming. Here’s a species that evolved in an oxygen-poor environment and needs a breathing suit when it visits other worlds.
Bert’s been working on a SharePoint resource site called SharePoint Hero. He asked me to create a superhero figure for the site. Meet the Admin. His cape is the SharePoint logo.
Just testing out an idea for Atherton’s creator (and I felt like painting).
